LEWOGA - USA LAUNCHING

Father God is good all the time and all the time father God is good. Thank  you Lord for your grace and mercy on all of us.

  Good evening and welcome! All traditional protocol respected. Mothers, fathers, honorable invited guests. Friends and well-wishers, Ladies and gentlemen, a huge thank you for your presence here tonight for our momentous launching.

   My name is Pat Morfaw, a mom, a wife and a sister. It is with humility, honor and privilege as the pioneer and current president to introduce and present to you our distinguished group Lebialem Women of Ga ( LEWOGA ). Please put your hands together for our sisterhood group. Thank you so much. The idea of the group was conceived by our visionary mother Mami Fada AKA Mrs. Josephine Atem to address a particular need. Please put your hands together for our visionary founder, fierce sister and mother. When mami introduced the idea, energized Lebialem women took it to the next level to address many needs. The groundwork of the group was laid in 2023, the group inaugurated in January of 2024, thus a year later our momentous launching today.

What makes LEWOGA different from other groups one may ask? And what is unique about our group?

1. First Lebialem Women of Ga is a sisterhood group whose mission is to support and empower Lebialem women and its vision to be mentors and partners in improving lives. Hence with our sisterhood, we  support and empower each other, there is unity and  solidarity. Our values grounded in faith, to love, unite and support each other to realize one's authentic potentials which translates to building  families, communities and much more.

2. Second, women make things happen  and collectively we believe that our distinguished group remains a strong force of change. Irrespective of societal pressures and demands on females, women show up to build their families, engage and impact their communities and world at large.

3. Third as custodians of our culture,  LEWOGA wants to garner, teach and impact the next generation so that our cultural values and norms are not extinct. We aim to continue to teach respect, which is fast disappearing,  love, hard work and community engagement values ingrained in our culture.

4. LEWOGA support building strong family bonds, family values to sustain the family unit and combat the prevailing loneliness that pervades society now. We want to encourage building family togetherness, community togetherness knowing for example that the exhaustive and tiresome constant use of digital gadgets as in phones may not be conducive to interaction and communication needed to combat loneliness. Also as a support group, sisters can always engage with each other any time. Also of note, LEWOGA's platform and activities fulfill the traditional nostalgia experienced by our mothers and others.

5. In LEWOGA our inner workings are different, our Bylaws are different, not  copy and pasted. Our way of doing things is unique. We celebrate the strength and resilience of women with our LEWOGA Acts of Love and a brighter future as we take turns in celebrating each other on birthdays and much more.

   LEWOGA is a  novel group and unlike others is a  creative and innovative group aiming to improve lives, taking care of ourselves,  our families and community  engagement to better lives. We therefore thank you so much again for your presence, love and support in helping us to build an infrastructure where we can achieve our mission and vision  of improving lives. We also want to expand our outreach and our charitable work in the long run aligned with our vision. Looking forward, LEWOGA is poised to be a formidable network of sisters as we continue to stay committed,  dedicated and engaged in supporting each other and our communities in times of need. Thanking everyone again for coming and I would like to take this moment to acknowledge you being here.

  To my husband thank you for your unwavering support for LEWOGA and would like all of our spouses to stand so we can also acknowledge your unwavering support for LEWOGA. Please stand and let’s put our hands together for our spouses. Thanking our traditional leaders, please let’s put our hands together to acknowledge their presence. Thanking our honorable invited guests, friends and well-wishers, please stand and be acknowledged. To our clergy present and  father Atem  who has endorsed  us as GLESIANS, and will continue to pray for our distinguished group LEWOGA, thank you, please stand and be acknowledged. To our Mc/coMc thank you and thank you all so much. Long live decency, long live unity, Long live love and long live LEWOGA!

Again I want to thank all my sisters of our group of distinction. LEWOGA has the best EXCO team of sisters working together in unison as a team. It is again with humility and honor that I am privileged to present LEWOGA EXCO as a token of my appreciation please accept these certificates and proudly display them.

   And now, it is with gratitude, respect and love that I introduce and present a mother we admire, a fierce sister whose vision led to the creation of  LEWOGA. Please put your hands together again for our founder Mrs. Josephine Atem. Thank you all so much!
